(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 28 - Chiraa Ferragni on Saturday donated
200,000 euros to victims of gender violence in a fraud case
where she is accused of misleading buyers of a charity Pandoro
and Easter Eggs.
The influencer and businesswoman thus reached an aggreement with
consumer group CODACONS, which has therefore decided to stand
down as civil plaintiff in the case and withdraw its criminal
complaint.
The case will, however, move forward.
At the center of the investigation are cases of alleged
misleading advertising linked to the sales, at inflated prices
and disguised as charitable initiatives, which took place
between 2021 and 2022, of a Balocco 'Pink Christmas' Pandoro and
Dolci Preziosi Easter eggs.
According to the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office, the illicit
profit allegedly made by Ferragni amounted just over 2 million
and 200 thousand euros.
Three other people are involved in the case. (ANSA).
