Italy's public debt over 3,000 bn in November 2024 - BoI

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 15 - Italy's public debt surpassed the three-trillion-euro mark in November, rising by 23.9 billion euros compared to the previous month, to 3,005. 2 billion, the Bank of Italy said Wednesday. The central bank said tax revenues in November last year amounted to 51.7 billion euros, down by 0.1% compared to the same month in 2023. It added that tax revenues for the first 11 months of last year totalled 504.3 billion euros, up 5.0%, or 24.2 billion euros, compared to the same period the previous year. (ANSA).
