(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 6 - Two migrants died during a landing at
Lampedusa Thursday.
A migrant was found dead on the beach, another died at the
outpatient clinic, where he had been transported after the
landing of 44 people on Isola dei Conigli, in Lampedusa.
The group traveled on a 9-meter boat and the police intercepted
them on the street.
It was the migrants themselves (Bengali, Egyptians, Pakistanis
and Moroccans) who reported to the police that two of their
traveling companions were ill.
Once on the beach, the police found the body of a man, while
along the path there was another migrant in obvious hypothermia,
who later died at the outpatient clinic. (ANSA).
