Italy-US have strong-enduring partnership Rubio tells Tajani

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 14 - US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Friday stressed the importance of the strong and enduring partnership between the US and Italy during a bilateral meeting with Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on the sidelines of the G7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting in La Malbaie, Quebec, the Department of State said in a note. "Secretary Rubio underscored the importance of the strong and enduring U. S.-Italy partnership", according to the note issued by Spokesperson Tammy Bruce. "The Secretary and Foreign Minister Tajani discussed the need to increase burden sharing among all NATO Allies and end the Russia-Ukraine war" said Bruce.
    "They reaffirmed their shared commitment to tackling a range of global challenges, including balancing trade relationships, countering authoritarianism in Venezuela, and stabilizing the situation in the Middle East", the statement concluded. (ANSA).
