(ANSA) - Rome, October 19 - A mural painting by leading
Futurist artist Giacomo Balla (1871-1958) that had been missing
for a century - Bal Tic Tac (1921) - was discovered on the
ground floor of a building owned by the Bank of Italy in Rome.
Rome's art and architecture superintendent Francesco
Prosperetti said it is a "sensational discovery".
Painted for a popular jazz club in the 1920s, the artwork
will be restored and then shown to the public.
