(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 21 - Rapper Fedez and Roman personal trainer Cristiano Iovino on Tuesday reached an out-of-court settlement meaning the latter will not sue the former for an alleged street attack in Milan last month.
Under the terms of the deal, legal sources said, Iovino will forfeit his right to take legal action against the rapper for the assault that took place in Via Traiano on the night of April 21-22.
The settlement was initially reported on Dillinger News, a media outlet of disgraced former paparazzo to the stars Fabrizio Corona.
Milan-born Fedez, whose birth name is Federico Leonardo Lucia, was until recently half of Italy's premier showbiz power couple with 37-year-old Cremona born influencer and businesswoman Chiara Ferragni, going by the collective media tag of Ferragnez.
The couple, who have two young children, split up earlier this year.
Fedez, who has successfully battled cancer and depression in recent years, on Monday said reports of his being at death's door again were wildly exaggerated and he had only been to a Milan ER for a minor health issue. (ANSA).
