(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 21 - An Italian photo reporter was
hospitalised Tuesday after being allegedly attacked by French
actor Gerard Depardieu on the iconic Via Veneto in Rome.
Depardieu, 79, was bothered by Rino Barillari taking photos of
him at Harry's Bar and went up to the paparazzo and hit him two
or three times in the face, according to sources.
Barillari was taken to hospital in code green.
Police said they would view CCTV footage of the alleged assault.
