(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 15 - Rai's board on Monday approved the
appointment of Roberto Sergio as the State broadcaster's new
CEO.
He replaces Carlo Fuortes, who quit last week citing pressure
from Italy's rightwing government.
On Sunday, it was announced that Left-leaning chat-show host and
entertainer Fabio Fazio was leaving Rai state broadcaster for a
four-year deal with Warner Bros Discovery. (ANSA).
