Jolie and Blanchett light up Lido

(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 29 - Screen icons Angelina Jolie and Cate Blanchett lit up the Lido on the second day of the Venice Film Festival Thursday.
    "I feel as vulnerable as Callas," said Jolie as she presented her turn as the legendary opera singer in Pablo Larraín's biopic 'Maria. ' Larrain said "we celebrate the artist in order to reveal the woman".
    Blanchett, for her part, said on her role as a s shamed woman in Alfonso Cuaron's Apple TV series Disclaimer: "I interpret the dark side that is in all of us". (ANSA).
