(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 29 - The Amerigo Vespucci World Tour's
stopover in Tokyo has met the organisers of Expo Osaka 2025 in
order to cement the already excellent relations between the two
countries, with top authorities present.
"I am convinced that the Italy Pavilion at Osaka Expo 2025 may
serve to certainly boost our relations, to honour this new era
in which we have entered, reminding us as always of our past,
our traditions, and our values which yet again see us together,"
said Deputy Business and Made in Italy Minister Valentino
Valentini on the sidelines of the presentation conference, in
front of a packed audience of visitors and local media.
In his presentation, the minister for the Osaka 2025 Expo,
Hanako Jimi, reaffirmed that the historic arrival of the Amerigo
Vespucci sailing and training ship "will leave a long trace in
the solid ties of friendship between Italy and Japan." (ANSA).
