(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 4 - Angelina Jolie's take on Alessandro
Baricco's 2002 war drama novel Without Blood is set to debut at
the Toronto Film Festival on September 8.
Jolie's elder sons Maddox and Paxx worked on the film which
stars Salma Hayek, Demián Bichir and Juan Minujín and was partly
filmed in Puglia and Basilicata.
Jolie's fifth directorial effort is about a four-year-old girl
left for dead when her father and brother are brutally murdered.
Brad Pitt's ex-wife told People "the book had an emotional
effect on me as it did on so many other people. It speaks of
issues that are important to discuss". (ANSA).
