(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 18 - A concert scheduled at Pompeii's
archaeological area on September 20 in honour of the guests of
the G7 Culture Summit will include the performance of star tenor
Andrea Bocelli.
The G7 Culture Summit is scheduled to open in Naples on Friday,
September 20.
The popular Tuscan tenor will perform with conductor Carlo
Bernini while internationally-renowned soprano Carmen

Giannattasio - known for her interpretation of Tosca - will
perform Vissi D'Arte from Tosca as well as Casta Diva from the
Norma and La Danza - Tarantella - by Gioacchino Rossini as an
homage to the city hosting the G7 Culture Summit.
The G7 event will kick off on Friday at Palazzo Reale in the
port city.
Delegations, however, are scheduled to arrive in Naples on
Thursday afternoon when they will visit the National
Archaeological Museum and attend a performance starring young
