(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 27 - The general commissioner for Italy at
Expo 2025 Osaka Mario Vattani spoke at the second edition of the
Forum Risorsa Mare (Sea Resource Forum), held in Palermo on 25
and 26 September 2024, organized by the Minister for Civil
Protection and Sea Policies in collaboration with The European
House - Ambrosetti.
The Minister for Civil Protection and Sea Policies, Nello
Musumeci, will be present at the Italy Pavilion at Expo 2025
Osaka on 21 July, on the occasion of the celebration in Japan of
the Day of the Sea together with a business and scientific
delegation active in the field of the Blue Economy.
"One of our objectives in participating in Expo is to
update and broaden Italy's image in important markets in Asia.
This has an immediate effect on exports, attracting investments
and developing technological and industrial cooperation", said

Osaka.
"Now the new frontier of exploration is underwater. "We already
have a strong partnership with Japan for aerospace, and today
the news about our programs in the aerospace and underwater
sectors is highly important to identify Italy as a country with
highly advanced technology, and a potential partner in this
sector".
The Forum brought together experts in the maritime sector,
government representatives, entrepreneurs, scientists and
prominent figures from the world of culture to discuss the Blue
Economy and the sustainable development of marine resources.
Expo 2025 will be held in Osaka from April 13 to October 13,
2025 under the theme 'Designing the society of the future for
our lives'.
Italy presents itself with a Pavilion designed by architect
Mario Cucinella whose slogan is 'Art regenerates life'. (ANSA).
