(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 16 - China is ready to import high-quality
Italian goods, President Xi Jinping told Premier Giorgia Meloni
in a Bali bilateral on the sidelines of the G20 summit on the
Indonesian island Wednesday.
China adheres to the high-profile openness to the outside world
and "is willing to import more high-quality Italian products,
welcoming Italy as a country of honor at the China International
Consumer Goods Expo 2023", Xi said.
Beijing, Xi said, is also willing "to continue to strengthen
communication and coordination on multilateral platforms such as
the G20, to deepen solidarity and cooperation, to promote
authentic multilateralism and to work together to address
important challenges such as the global economy". (ANSA).
