(ANSA) - Rome, June 15 - The Rio de Janeiro Olympics will be
a chance to take action against food waste, world-class chef
Massimo Bottura said Wednesday.
"On August 1, my wife Lara and I will open a restaurant with
an anti-waste kitchen in a space the mayor of the Brazilian
megalopolis found for us in the favelas," said Bottura, whose
Modena eatery was recently voted the world's best restaurant.
Bottura said he plans to use leftovers and rejected produce
to cook quality food.
