Wine and Made in Italy fundamental parts of our identity-PM

(ANSA) - ROME, APR 15 - Wine and 'Made in Italy' are fundamental parts of Italian identity, Premier Giorgia Meloni said at the annual Vinitaly wine fair in Verona Monday.
    "There is no Italian identity without Made in Italy, there is no Italian culture without Made in Italy and it is no accident that Made in Italy is a fundamental part of our identity," she told exhibitors at the major event.
    "Just think of wine at all latitudes, I thank you for the work you have done inside Vinitaly, (wine) has been sung in poetry, literature, painted in pictures, sculpted into out sculptures, it is a fundamental part of our identity," she stressed.
    Exports of Italian wine are "slowing a bit but holding up well" the Italian wine federation Federvini said at the fair. (ANSA).
