- BARI, 26 AGO - From Pasolini to the Cure as well as Goran
Bregovic: this will be the Concertone of "tributes" on the
Melpignano stage from Saturday night for the 25th edition of La
Notte della Taranta.
Concert master Dardust said that he will bring on stage "a
journey through space and time, from Baroque to Rossini,
Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, and David Bowie".
A tribute to Pier Paolo Pasolini on the centenary of his
birth will be a song with verses from the Italian poet and
filmmaker's Canzoniere Italiano, "a melody, like a suite in
three movements of 6-7 minutes, with Japanese" elements, Dardust
said.
Then there will be a tribute to Goran Bregovic and
performances by Stromae, Samuele Bersani, Madame, Marco Mengoni
and Massimo Pericolo, as well as the Taranta orchestra, singers
and dance corps.
