Ronciglione wins 'Il borgo dei borghi' contest

(ANSA) - ROME, APR 10 - Ronciglione, a small medieval town near Viterbo north of Rome, has won the 10th edition of the 'Il borgo dei borghi' contest held by Rai state broadcaster to highlight the smaller gems of the Bel Paese.
    The town, birthplace of this year's Sanremo Song Festival winner Marco Mengone, is one of the most visited spots near the Lago di Vico north of the Italian capital.
    It was voted by viewers top of the 20 contestants this year.
    beating into second place Sant'Antioco in Sardinia, and Salemi in Sicily in third. (ANSA).
