(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 23 - Around 8.5 million Italians have
their suitcases packed and are set to go on vacation over the
Christmas holidays, while another two million are still
undecided and may take off at the last minute, according to a
study by retail-and-hospitality-sector association Confcommercio
and the SWG market research agency.
The report said that 83% of the Italians taking Christmas-period
trips will stay in Italy, with one in three going to mountain
destinations. (ANSA).
