Italy-Spain joint event in Skopje with football and culture

(ANSA) - SKOPJE, 21 GIU - In a friendly atmosphere, full of participation, the event organised by the Italian Embassy in Skopje jointly with the Spanish Embassy took place yesterday at the Laboratorium, where a day combining passion for football, culture, spirit of sharing and fun was organised.
    In addition to the exhibitions 'Il sogno degli Azzurri nella storia' and 'España en fiestas', the programme - as reported by the Embassy - included the screening of 'Campioni del Made in Italy', a series of videos made by the Lega Serie A, in collaboration with Ita - Italian Trade Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, thanks to which viewers were able to take an emotional journey through encounters with great protagonists of Italian football. This was followed by the 2018 Spanish film 'Campeones' ('All that remains is to win') directed by Javier Fesser, about the strength of inclusion and diversity as well as the true values of life and sport.
    The audience was then put to the test with a fun interactive quiz - with a final prize - on cultural and football knowledge about Italy and Spain, animated for Italy by female students from the Department of Italian Studies at Ukim. In a mutual exchange of tastes and flavours, there was also room for a welcome tasting of some typical foods and drinks from the two countries with the collaboration of Bottega del Gusto. A live broadcast of the Spain-Italy match concluded the event, unfortunately with the defeat of the Italian national team.
