Emergency contribution from Italy for Tigray flood victims

(ANSA) - ROMA, 03 LUG - The Italian Embassy in Ethiopia announces that Italy has granted an emergency contribution of 200,000 euro to respond to the crisis caused by the numerous floods that have hit the Tigray region in recent weeks. The resources will be donated to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, which will use them to provide basic necessities to the population, particularly in the camps located in the Shire area where thousands of internally displaced persons live
