(ANSA) - ROMA, 04 LUG - It is a special exhibition that opened at the Lisbon Maritime Museum as part of the 'Humanitatis Europae' project: on display are 40 recycled wooden kayaks built by young handicapped people. Each boat bears the name of a European humanist, thanks to the contribution of embassies invited to name a personality from their country. The Italian Embassy in Lisbon, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute, "aware of the precious value of sport as a vehicle for social inclusion and intercultural dialogue, joined the initiative by naming a kayak after Pico della Mirandola. The inauguration of the exhibition was attended by the Italian ambassador to Portugal, Claudio Miscia.
