Ambassador Silvestri meets Macedonian environment minister

(ANSA) - SKOPJE, 10 LUG - The Italian Ambassador to North Macedonia, Andrea Silvestri, was received today by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Environment and Spatial Planning, Izet Mexhiti. During the meeting, the Embassy announced in a note, the numerous Italian initiatives for the protection and enhancement of Macedonia's natural heritage, carried out both in the past and currently, were recalled and some possible future projects were discussed. The two interlocutors expressed their willingness to intensify cooperation in order to expand the possibilities for environmental protection and sustainable development in the country.
