Ambassador to Somalia meets Minister of Public Works

(ANSA) - ROMA, 12 SET - The Ambassador of Italy in Mogadishu, Pier Mario Daccò Coppi, and the Deputy Director of the Nairobi office of the Italian Agency for Cooperation - AICS met the Somali Minister of Public Works, Abdisalam Ali, to discuss the project for the reconstruction of the new Rectorate of the Somali National University.
    The project is part of the long-standing support provided by Italy to the Somali National University through the strengthening of teaching, the allocation of scholarships and the renovation and supply of materials and equipment to the various Faculties. The aim of the initiative, explains a note from the embassy, is to construct a functional building that at the same time restores lustre and enhances the original Italian architectural imprint.
