Amb. Formosa meets the Italy-Ukraine Parliamentary Group

(ANSA) - ROMA, 13 SET - The Italian Ambassador to Ukraine Carlo Formosa met with a delegation from the Italy-Ukraine Friendship Group of the Kiev Parliament, which brings together the MPs who most closely follow relations with our country. Co-chairs Serhii Alieksieiev and Daria Volodina were present. The meeting reviewed various topics of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of defence, mine clearance, the fight against organised crime and law enforcement cooperation.
    "The mission I lead is very sensitive to all your requests, as they come from the representatives of a friendly people, who greatly admire Italy," the ambassador told the deputies, recalling how the active parliamentary diplomacy between Italy and Ukraine is an effective testimony to the closeness of our peoples and adherence to common democratic values.
