UN thanks Italy for supporting Sahrawi refugees

(ANSA) - ALGERI, 13 SET - The Italian ambassador to Algeria, Alberto Cutillo, received the representative of the World Food Programme (WFP) in the North African country, Aline Rumonge, who, on behalf of the organisation, expressed her thanks for Italian cooperation and its humanitarian contribution in support of Sahrawi refugees. This was announced by the Italian diplomatic representation in Algiers in a post published last night on its social networks.
    As is well known, the Italian government's support for Sahrawi refugees in the Tindouf camps, in the far south-west of Algeria, amounts to two million euros.
