Amb. Varricchio represents Italy at 'Berlin process summit

(ANSA) - ROMA, 18 SET - Italy's ambassador to Germany, Armando Varricchio, represents Italy at the 'Berlin process summit 2024' meeting of interior ministers. The meeting is dedicated this year to cooperation between Europe and the Western Balkans on the issues of combating irregular immigration, human trafficking and organised crime. 'The Berlin Process' is a diplomatic initiative born in 2014 linked to the enlargement of the European Union to the Western Balkan countries and this year its tenth anniversary will be celebrated on 14 October in Berlin.
