Slovakia: Ambassador Flumiani encourages dialogue and synergies

(ANSA) - PRAGA, 27 SET - The Italian Ambassador in Bratislava, Catherine Flumiani, yesterday had a farewell meeting with the President of the European Affairs Commission of the Slovak National Council, Ján Ferencák.
    The ambassador expressed her appreciation for the dialogue established with the President and members of the Commission, emphasising the many convergences between Italy and Slovakia on the issues under discussion within the European Union. In particular, reads a communiqué from the diplomatic office, possible synergies were evoked in the energy and industrial policy sectors, also in light of the important contribution made by Italian companies present in Slovakia. Together with Ferencak, the importance of dialogue and interparliamentary cooperation was shared, with the hope of being able to organise further occasions for meetings between Italian and Slovak parliamentarians in the near future.
