(ANSA) - GINEVRA, 02 OTT - An Information Day on social security for Italian citizens resident in the Canton of Ticino was held on Tuesday, 1 October 2024, in the presence of the Director General of the Inps, Dr Valeria Vittimberga, together with the authorities of the Ticino Canton Government for Swiss social security. This was reported in a Consulate communiqué.
The Consulate General of Italy in Lugano and the National Social Security Institute (Inps), in collaboration with the Committee of Italians Abroad Lugano-Ticino, with the support of the patronati and the trade unions Acli, Inas-Cisl, Ital-Uil, Ocst, Unia, Upss (Inca) organised the Information Day during which the most relevant issues on pensions in the international regime were discussed in depth, the communiqué reads.
'With this joint initiative,' commented Consul General Meucci and Comites Lugano President Prof. Di Giulio, 'we wanted to offer Italian citizens living in Ticino an information service of great interest for their future.
