Ambassador Ferrari visits archaeological excavations at the Togolok site

(ANSA) - ROMA, 08 OTT - The Ambassador of Italy to Turkmenistan, Luigi Ferrari, visited the excavations of the Tap(Togolok Archaeological Project) directed by Professor Barbara Cerasetti at the Togolok site in the Murghabat region, about 400 kilometres from Ashgabat. The archaeological mission of the International Association for Mediterranean and Eastern Studies (Ismeo) is engaged in research on the Bronze Age, in cooperation with the Turkmenistan Ministry of Culture and international partners.
