Belgrade, technology cooperation agreement signed at Embassy

Between Bio4 Campus, Arexpo S.p.A. and Fitt. Amb. Gori and Min. Begovic

(ANSA) - BELGRADO, 08 OTT - The Ambassador of Italy to Serbia, Luca Gori, hosted today in residence the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Bio4 Campus, Arexpo S.p. A. and the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), in the presence of the Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, Jelena Begovic. The agreement aims to promote interaction and collaborations between the new Serbian biotechnology centre Bio4 Campus and the Milan Innovation District - MIND realised by Arexpo S.p.A.. The signing ceremony was followed by a seminar entitled 'Innovation districts: new models to face common challenges and create synergies in science and technology' led by the CEO of Arexpo S.p.A. Igor De Biasio, the President of FITT, Alberto Mina, and the Director of the Bio4 Campus, Smiljana Krivokuca.
    "The signing of this agreement is the result of the action of strengthening cooperation in the field of science and technology that started with the Business & Science Forum in March 2023, continued with the Innovation Forum last December and of which the bilateral scientific forum planned in Trieste next November will be a further stage," said Ambassador Gori. "Italy and Serbia," he added, "are working hard to grow their respective capacities in the field of innovation and the cooperation between Arexpo and Bio4 Campus is the fruit of this common mission"
