(ANSA) - SAN PAOLO, 16 OTT - On the eve of the end of her mission in São Paulo, Brazil, in the role of Deputy Consul, Livia Satullo was awarded the Collar of Honour for Legislative Merit by the Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo: the highest honour that the Assembly grants to those who have contributed to the development of the State.
"This recognition marks the completion of my four years in São Paulo," says the diplomat. "Years full of challenges and opportunities in the city with the most Italian descendants in the world, and with the richest and most diverse business community that Italy can boast abroad.
In these years of service in Brazil, Satullo has contributed to a total restructuring of the Consulate General, which has 'increased consular services, in some cases even by 50%, enhanced the visibility of the Consulate and of Italian institutions, and realised promotional events to bring an ever-wider audience of Brazilians, Paulists and Paulistani in particular, closer to Italy'.
