Ukraine, Amb. Formosa meets Strategic Industries Minister

(ANSA) - ROMA, 21 OTT - The Italian Ambassador to Kiev, Carlo Formosa, met with the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Herman Smetanin. The subject of the talks was the exploration of joint initiatives that could fill the potential for collaboration in the fundamental sector of the defence industry. To this end, possible synergies between the industries of the two countries were explored, also with the aim of contributing to the consolidation of the Ukrainian security system in the context of the current challenges.
    "The Italian system intends to make available its experience and capabilities in the defence industry sector to foster cooperation that will benefit both sides," said Formosa.
