Today began with Holy Mass in Pula Cathedral, followed by the laying of wreaths at the Navy cemetery and then at the civil cemetery on Monte Giro.
There was a similar programme in Rijeka, with Holy Mass at the Church of St Romuald and All Saints, and a commemoration ceremony at the crypt of the Cosala cemetery. Consul General Iva Palmieri took part in the entire programme, accompanied on the Pula stage by Honorary Consul Tiziano Sosic.
