(ANSA) - SOFIA, 05 NOV - The Italian Ambassador to Sofia, Giuseppina Zarra, met the Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria Evtim Miloshev. At the centre of the talks," the embassy reported in a note, "was the bilateral cooperation between the two countries for the development of different types of tourism - winter, summer, cultural, agricultural, food and wine - in the sectors in which Italy is a favourite destination for tourists from all over the world.
In addition, Minister Miloshev expressed interest in deepening cooperation in the area of year-round tourism in winter tourism resorts, bearing in mind Italian know-how and also with a view to the preservation of nature in the areas. The ambassador emphasised Bulgaria's wealth of tourist destinations of various types with enormous development potential to which the Italian experience could contribute, agreeing on the opportunity to deepen contacts and explore possible Italian-Bulgarian synergies at future meetings.
