(ANSAmed) - ROMA, 07 NOV - (ANSAmed) - RABAT, 06 NOV - The Week of Italian Cuisine in the World (from 17 to 22 November) starts in Rabat. The initiative is part of the programme promoted by Italy's Foreign Ministry to raise awareness of the country's dishes, traditions and culture in every corner of the globe.
This ninth edition promises to be packed with events and is organised in Morocco by the Italian Embassy with the Consulate General in Casablanca, the Italian Agency for the Promotion of Foreign Trade, the Italian Cultural Institute, the Chamber of Commerce and the Dante Alighieri Society of Casablanca.
The week will culminate in a gala on 22 November at the Italian restaurant 'Sesamo', Alajmo's starred corner at the Royal Mansour in Marrakech. But the week-long programme runs throughout Morocco with show cooking and master classes in Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech, hosted from time to time by the 'Ali Zaoua' and 'Orient-Occident' foundations.
