(ANSA) - HANOI, 13 NOV - Tomorrow sees the start of the 23rd European Film Festival in Vietnam, to be held from 14 to 28 November 2024 in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Organised by the European Union Delegation in Vietnam, the festival features a selection of 18 films, many of which have won prestigious awards at film festivals around the world.
Presenting a series of ordinary characters in circumstances that are anything but ordinary, the films take them to the edge of their comfort zones, to country villages, to the feudal court, to a post-conflict city and to many other contexts.
In addition to the daily screenings, the festival offers a series of side events, including in-depth workshops specifically designed for Vietnamese film professionals and led by European experts.
The Italian Embassy in Hanoi is participating with the screening of the award-winning film 'C'è ancora domani' by director and actress Paola Cortellesi.
