(ANSA) - QUITO, 13 NOV - Italy is present as an observer country at the XXIX Ibero-American Summit being held in the city of Cuenca. Leading the Italian delegation is Ambassador Giovanni Davoli, who, according to a note, on the occasion "reaffirmed our country's commitment to the benefit of the entire Ibero-American community".
The Italian agenda, the note continues, 'includes moments of dialogue and working sessions with Observer Countries' on the theme 'innovation, inclusion and sustainability' under discussion at the summit.
The meeting also aims to promote the implementation of the Ibero-American Charter of Principles and Rights in Digital Environments, approved at the previous meeting in Santo Domingo in 2023.
