Amb. Formosa at presentation of Ukrainian strategy on culture

(ANSA) - ROMA, 09 DIC - The Ambassador of Italy in Kiev, Carlo Formosa, attended the presentation of the strategic plan of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine dedicated to Cultural Sovereignty, one of the ten points of Ukraine's Internal Resilience Plan presented by President Zelensky to the Verkhovna Rada on 19 November.
    During the event, the crucial role of culture as a pillar of national resilience and a component of security policy was emphasised. Reiterating Italy's support, Ambassador Formosa said: 'The protection and promotion of cultural heritage is key to building national resilience and strengthening ties with Europe. The plan focuses on heritage protection, cultural sustainability, social cohesion and international promotion, highlighting the importance of legislative harmonisation with European standards.
