(ANSA) - LOS ANGELES, 08 GEN - As many as 46 start-ups are representing Italy at the 2025 edition of Ces in Las Vegas, the world's largest technology fair. "Our presence here has only increased and this year we are particularly proud to break the record for female presence: out of all the companies that have arrived from our country, no less than 14 are in the hands of women.
"Italy is not only synonymous with gastronomy, fashion and furniture: Made in Italy is establishing itself as a global leader in the most advanced technological sectors, such as electronics, life science, biotechnology and aerospace. In 2023, these industries achieved exports of 6.7 billion dollars, with a growth of 68% in the first eight months of 2024," said Matteo Zoppas, president of Ice (the agency for foreign promotion and internationalisation of Italian companies).
It is this organisation that organised the pavilion's activities and brought young companies from 14 regions to Las Vegas. Researchers from the Aida project of the Milan Polytechnic, with an autonomous-driving Maserati, were also guests.
