Italian gastronomic specialities on show in Turkmenistan

(ANSA) - ROMA, 24 MAR - Italy took part in the 'World cuisines' gastonomic event organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the large-scale tree-planting campaign in the country attended by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. On the day, 8,000 seedlings were planted on a 20-hectare area in Ashgabat while the 'Kitchens of the World' event showcased the talents of the participating diplomatic missions. The Italian Embassy in Turkmenistan organised a stand with Italian gastronomic specialities that was visited by President Berdimuhamedov.
