(ANSA) - Rome, December 22 - Two Senators and one Lower House MP from the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S) resigned Monday. "Today I stepped down from parliament," tweeted Lower House MP Cristian Iannuzzi.
"Recent decisions and organizational choices made by the Movement are in my opinion distant from what I have supported and fought for," Vacciano wrote on Facebook.
The move came after several M5S Lower House MPs occupied the government's seats during debate on the 2015 budget. The protesting MPs were promptly ejected from.
