(ANSA) - Rome, June 30 - Under-fire Rome Mayor Ignazio Marino has been admitted to the city's Policlinico Gemelli hospital after feeling ill overnight, ANSA sources said Tuesday.
Marino, a member of Premier Matteo Renzi's centre-left Democratic Party (PD), has been under pressure to quit following a probe into allegations a mafia organization muscled in on city contracts, even though he is not personally implicated.
