(ANSA) - Rome, July 14 - Willer Bordon, former MP, Senator,
and twice minister, died on Tuesday at the age of 66.
Bordon was first elected to parliament in 1987, and also
served as minister of public works, minister of environment,
undersecretary of cultural heritage and Senator.
He was mayor of the town of Muggia near Trieste for 10
years.
After he retired from the Senate in 2008 Bordon became a
professor of political science at Rome's La Sapienza University,
as well as a businessman, working primarily on renewable energy
projects.
