(ANSA) - Cairo, February 19 - The Egyptian pro-government
daily Youm7 online has said sources close to the Egyptian
prosecutor's office investigating the brutal killing of Giulio
Regeni suspect that Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood was responsible
for the Italian researcher's death.
Youm7 reported Thursday that sources said Regeni "was
killed by undercover secret agents, most likely belonging to the
terrorist group Muslim Brotherhood, to embarrass the Egyptian
government".
