(ANSA) - Rome, August 26 - Towns and villages flattened by
Wednesday's earthquake will be rebuilt as they were "certainly
safer but keeping intact traditions and roots," Cabinet
Secretary Claudio De Vincenti said after a meeting at the
premier's office between Premier Matteo Renzi, Civil Protection
Chief Fabrizio Curcio and the governors of the regions affected.
De Vincenti also said schools would reopen as soon as possible.
