(ANSA) - Rome, September 7 - The Italian Treasury announced
on Wednesday that sector studies would be ended and that
compliance indices would gradually be drawn up through a period
of experimentation to provide "the level of taxpayer
reliability".
Those attaining a high level, the Treasury said in a
statement released after the ministry met with professional
associations, "will have access to an awards system" that
foresees fast-track tax refunds, speedier procedures and an
exclusion from certain verification processes.
