(ANSA) - Rome, October 24 - Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi said
Monday her administration is at work on a cable car project for
a sustainable alternative to current city transportation.
"We announced it during the campaign, and we're working on
it," she wrote on Facebook.
We'll have the results in a few months".
"We want to give our vision of an integrated, sustainable
city...by involving citizens in the design of a transportation
network," she wrote.
An urban cable car network would "introduce an authentic
revolution in the city's ecosystem," Raggi wrote.
"London and Berlin have already taken the first step and
Paris will join them soon," she added.
"Rome certainly doesn't want to be left behind".
