(ANSA) - Brussels, February 14 - Industry Minister Carlo
Calenda has written to European Competition Commissioner
Margrethe Vestager asking the EU to monitor the "fiscal and
direct incentives policies" of Slovakia to ensure they respect
European law, sources said Wednesday.
The letter seeks to "draw attention" to the "repeated
relocation" of firms from Italy to Slovakia, following the
Embraco and Honeywell cases.
