(ANSA) - Rome, September 17 - Defence Minister Elisabetta
Trenta on Monday asked for clarification on Italian arms
recently sold to Saudi Arabia.
Trenta said that if the exports breached a 1990 law, she

and cancel the relevant contracts".
She stressed that the contracts had been "signed and carried
forward by the previous government".
Trenta thanked the media for highlighting the possible
